SPECIALIZED TREATMENT: - Neuromuscular reeducation, Electrical stimulation, Ultrasound, TENS, Hot packs/Cold packs, PNF, bed mobility training, transfer training, ADL training, cognitive and communication re-training.
- Balance and gait training are an integral part of Rehabilitation. Our Physical Therapists provide the necessary facilitation to enhance the patient's proprioception and balance reactions. In our facility, in addition to the parallel bars and standing table, we have the Solostep a unique piece of equipment which helps the patient maintain their balance while participating in their therapeutic program, thus eliminating the fear of falling. It helps to facilitate a more fluid gait and appropriate balance reactions. This allows the patient to learn to walk with the help of his therapist, over the floor and carpet, while partially supported. We are currently the only facility in South Florida that has a Solostep.
- Saeboflex(TM) training (formerly known as Functional Tone Management training) with our certified Occupational Therapist. This technique works with the involved upper extremity to increase its function as a whole. It is the precursor to constraint induced movement therapy.
- Bioness L-300 and H-200 are neuro retraining tools we use in conjuction with our regular Physical and Occupational therapy sessions, and with our modified Constraint induced movement therapy program.
- Integration of the principles of Constraint Induced Movement therapy (CIT) with conventional therapy during our sessions with instructions for the patient to follow at home. We also offer a self pay 6 hours a week modified constraint therapy program where you engage in a tailored program for each patient, designed to improve functional movements of the involved extremities thru repetition.
- Neurodevelopmental (NDT) treatment for the adult hemiplegia and brain injured patients, with our certified Physical Therapist. This technique is the technique of choice in the rehabilitation of neuromuscular impairments. Our physical therapist has been certified since 1984 and has attended numerous updates to its application.

Individualized Care: Your treatment begins with an in depth evaluation by one of our licensed therapists. At the end of the evaluation you and your therapist will discuss the therapy goals. These therapy goals are a combination of what you would like to achieve in therapy and the evaluation findings by the therapist. An individualized treatment plan of care, then will be formulated by your therapist to address these goals. All sessions are provided on a one to one basis in a professional, and relaxed atmosphere. We work hard to help you achieve your goals. We make every effort to accommodate your needs, including home visits if the patient is unable to visit the office. Methods of Payment: We accept Medicare, Medicaid, all PPO's and have affordable rates for the self pay patients.
